When Two Principles Meet: The Story Behind Lumeshield and Levner’s Collaboration

Every fire protection design we create is built on this belief:
Safety is not just about compliance—it’s about lives. Perhaps a parent, a child, or a loved one waiting at home.

That is why we don’t see fire protection system designs as mere technical documents. To us, it’s part of an ethical and social responsibility.

This principle is what brought us together with Levner.

In early 2025, we discussed with Levner's team the challenges we both saw in the field—many fire protection system designs are technically sound, but may not support operational efficiency or align with the client’s business goals. On the other hand, some managerial approaches are solid but lack adequate technical backing.

That’s where everything began.

Why Did We Decide to Collaborate?

We believe the best solutions come from cross-disciplinary collaboration. We bring expertise in fire protection system design and calculations. Levner brings a strategic perspective—how a technical solution can align with compliance, QHSE standards, and operational sustainability.

When these two perspectives came together, a unique partnership was born: a design audit that addresses not just technicalities, but also the broader impact on overall business operations.

What Did We Work on Together?

In this collaboration, Levner and Lumeshield are focused on:

  • Conducting a design audit for sprinkler and hydrant systems based on relevant fire protection standards—FM Global, NFPA, and Indonesia’s SNI.
  • Assessing design compliance not only on paper but also in terms of operational efficiency and real-world needs.
  • Providing recommendations that are technically compliant, yet strategically sound and feasible for implementation.

We also developed an efficient working process, clarifying roles and strengthening each other at critical points. It’s not about who is more expert—it’s about how we complement each other.

More Than Just a Project

This collaboration is not just about the current project. It’s about creating space for mutual learning. It’s about how data-driven design approaches can align with visionary business strategies.

We believe this is the ideal form of partnership today—not just to complete a task, but to create a broader impact within the industry.

What we build today, in collaboration with Levner, isn’t just for the present. It’s an investment in a future where safety is woven into every structure, every operation, and every community. We don’t just design for today—we design to protect tomorrow.

Because at Lumeshield, we believe in one guiding principle:
Safety Through Design.
